I do not feel safe buying goods online. Can I place my order over the phone?

Exceptional security is a distinct feature of our custom-built website. When you make a card payment online, your details are relayed to Stripe, one of the largest payment processors in the world. There is no need for us to see or store them (and so we do not). If you still feel safer talking to us, simply pick up your phone.

Do your book images correspond to the actual items sold on your website?

Yes. We display images of the books we stock. That is why all photographs are watermarked with our logo! Occasionally, a set of book images may be shared between multiple copies, but only where individual sets would be indistinguishable. Signed copies are the sole exception, as no two signatures can ever be identical.

Can you offer me a discount on the item I am interested in?

No. We believe that our pricing is fair and competitive. If an item is mispriced, chances are it is priced too low. Fellow booksellers are always welcome to apply for a trade discount.

I have some books for sale. Would you like to take a look at them?

Not presently. We are primarily focusing our resources on buying at book fairs and auctions. This might well change in the future, as our business evolves.
