Virginia Woolf ⦗Adeline Virginia Stephen, 1882–1941⦘

First edition. 8vo. 239, [1] pp. Publisher's blue buckram, lettered in gilt to spine. Jacket design by Vanessa Bell (priced 18s net to front flap). With an editorial note by Leonard Woolf.
Usual toning to text block, else interior crisp and clean. Spine of dust wrapper slightly tanned with a couple of foxed spots by the folds and a tiny scrunched up area to the foot of the front panel reinforced by a narrow Sellotape strip on the verso, otherwise complete and bright.
The last of four posthumous collections of Woolf's essays edited by Leonard Woolf and rooted out by Woolf's bibliographer, Miss B. L. Kirkpatrick, and Dr. Mary Lyon of Radcliffe college who authored Virginia Woolf as Critic.
