First edition. 8vo. Pp. [8]. Sewn burgundy wrappers, as issued. Hand-printed by John Fuller, and hand-stitched by the author himself.
A poem in five parts. Author's second sole appearance in print, preceded only by the 1975 Sycamore Broadsheet No. 22, Isherwood is at Santa Monica. Title co-opted from William Lee Howard's 1911 publication of the same name, a companion piece to the author's tongue-in-cheek instruction manual for pubescent girls, Confidential Chats with Girls. The physician and writer was memorably described in the Dictionary of American Biography (1928) as "A writer of books on sex subjects, and a pamphleteer... [who] was held to more esteem by the laity than by the profession". A 'chapbook' for chaps. Scarce.
