Tissue-guarded frontispiece and six illustrations by John Butler Yeats, title page printed in red and black. First issue binding with "Lawrence & Bullen" to the foot of spine.

Scattered foxing to prelims., more prominent to endpapers, title page (inclusive of tissue-guard), and frontispiece, offsetting to endpapers, gentle rubbing to board edges and spine tips, hinges starting but still firm in a couple of places, gilt decoration to front and spine a tad worn, else Very Good.
