No 59 of an edition of 100 copies, printed on Zerkall paper and signed by the author, out of a total edition of 300 copies, the rest unsigned and printed on inferior paper.

Originally published in the Sunday Times, 24th May 1998, it constitutes the final held-back chapter to Captain Corelli's Mandolin.
